What can I say? Another fine piece of work by the Perth mint. This year's Koala is yet another beautifully minted coin with amazing detail on the bear itself and fine frosting in the background with a further frosted and detailed eucalyptus branch. The outer circle of the reverse is a brilliant mirror finish as are the outer circle and portrait of the Queen on the obverse. As with previous Koalas the lettering is also frosted, which is a nice detail. Koalas are among my favourite coins.
