The Chinese Panda series was introduced in 1982 and has become one of the most popular with collectors around the globe. As always, the coin's reverse shows the Temple of Heaven in Beijing with the Chinese characters for the 'People's Republic of China' at the top of the coin and the date of issue at the base. Since 2016, the old ounce measurements have been replaced with the metric system and the 3 g Panda replaces the 1/10 oz coin.
