1g China Panda Gold Coin (2021)
Product Details
In 2016, the 1/20 oz Gold Panda was replaced by the 1 gram Gold Panda in order to match the metric system.
The giant panda - characterised by the large black patches around its eyes, ears and body - is native to south central China. The panda is regarded as a symbol of peace and friendship across China. In the Xizhou Dynasty, the panda was seen to be an invincible animal, one as strong as a tiger. While the dragon often serves as China's national symbol, internationally the giant panda appears just as often and is widely used within China in international contexts.
